Create and manage sites with a connected agent
Start with an authorized agent connection. Tell the agent which site to work on, what should change, and how you want to review the result.
Create a site
Ask the agent to create a draft for the business. Provide the business name, services, service area, contact preferences, and any existing material it should use. Have it ask for missing facts rather than inventing credentials, prices, or policies.
The agent should inspect Wirechunk’s current workflow instructions and schemas before writing content. The management interface provides tools to read those instructions, inspect available records, and create valid site content.
Update an existing site
A useful request names the records involved and the intended result. For example: update a service description, adjust its inquiry form, and review the related navigation.
Have the agent read the current version before editing it. Saved versions identify the state it is changing; a conflict means the agent should inspect newer content instead of repeatedly overwriting it.
Editing can use Wirechunk’s supported virtual-file tools or HTTP operations. Both save content into the site’s shared draft.
Validate and preview
Ask the agent to check the whole draft after changes that affect related records. A page can be valid by itself while still referring to a missing image, page, or form.
Review a preview of the resulting site. Public form submissions are disabled in a draft preview, so inspect their questions and confirmation text before testing a live inquiry after publication.
You can inspect History in the app to review the editing actions. Undo changes in the draft when appropriate, then preview the result again.
Publish with the right scope
Publishing releases the saved site draft, including changes made by other editors. Ask the agent to inspect unpublished changes and explain what will go live.
If service activation or payment is required, follow the owner-controlled billing flow. Creating a draft, activating service, and publishing are separate operations. A content-editing request should not be treated as authorization to incur a new charge.
After publication, open the live site and verify the changes. Continue future work in the shared draft.
