Security and reliability
Running a business website involves more than keeping a page online. Access needs to be controlled, edits need to be reviewable, and inquiries need to reach the people responsible for them.
Wirechunk builds these concerns into the site’s management and publishing workflow.
Separate public access from site management
The public website exposes published content and inquiry forms. Managing the website requires an authenticated user with permission for that site. Public agent tools do not grant access to drafts, private form entries, account billing, or ownership changes.
An external management agent acts with the permissions of the person who authorized it. Wirechunk checks those permissions on requests, and you can revoke the agent’s connection when it is no longer needed.
Give people the access they need
The account owner controls invitations and ownership. Site collaborators can work on the content and site workflow. Billing delegates can view invoices and manage the account payment method without receiving access to site content.
Account verification and resource permissions apply through the app, agent tools, and management API. A tool connection is not a way around an owner-only operation.
Review changes before publication
Edits save to a draft while the published version continues serving visitors. You can inspect unpublished changes and open a preview before releasing the next version.
Publishing validates saved content and releases the selected saved versions together. Editing history records actions and revisions, giving you a way to inspect and undo content changes in the draft. Resolve overlapping changes before attempting an undo that conflicts with later work.
For backup-retention or restoration requirements beyond ordinary content undo, contact us to discuss the operational requirements of your site.
Validate inquiries and track delivery
Forms validate submitted fields and can use spam controls. A received inquiry is recorded separately from its delivery to email or an integration. Each delivery has a status, so a failure at a destination can be investigated and retried.
Repeated public submissions can use an idempotency key to avoid creating duplicate entries for the same request. Form tools return an explicit confirmation after an inquiry is accepted.
Protect connections and infrastructure
Wirechunk’s deployment uses Google Cloud infrastructure, managed HTTPS certificates for custom domains, and separate public and private storage. Runtime credentials are supplied through Secret Manager. Stored form-delivery configuration is encrypted in the application database.
Payment-method setup and payments use Stripe’s embedded flow. An account owner reviews activation and recurring billing rather than a public website visitor or customer agent changing it.
Custom scripts and integrations add behavior to your website. Review the services and code you connect, and keep access to those accounts under your team’s control.
Ask about a specific requirement
If your organization needs details about hosting, recovery, permissions, or a particular integration, describe the requirement when contacting us. We can address the specific workflow instead of relying on a general security label.
