Collaboration and permissions
Wirechunk separates access to a site’s content from permission to help with account billing. The account owner decides who receives each kind of access.
Invite a site collaborator
Open the site’s Sharing section and invite the person’s email address. They need to sign in with that address and verify it to accept the invitation.
Site collaborators can work with the site’s content and inquiries through the same workspace and permitted operations. Treat this as working access to the site, including its draft and publishing workflow. Owner-only operations, such as changing ownership and activating billable service, remain with the owner.
All editors work on a shared draft. Before publishing, review the saved changes across the site, including changes made by other people or their agents.
Delegate billing access
Billing access lets another person view account invoices and manage the account payment method. It does not give them site content or the ability to edit forms and pages.
The payment method applies to the account’s subscription. A delegate’s changes can therefore affect how all sites on that account are paid for. The account owner still controls service activation, subscription changes, and site ownership.
Review or remove access
The owner can inspect the people with access and pending invitations. Revoke an unaccepted invitation when it is no longer needed, or remove an existing collaborator or billing delegate.
An invitation is addressed to a specific email. If someone cannot accept it, confirm the email on their signed-in account and whether verification is complete.
Connected agents follow the user
An external agent uses the permissions of the person who authorized it. Connecting an agent does not turn a collaborator into an owner or give a billing delegate content access.
Review connected agents separately from people invited to a site. Disconnect an agent when you no longer want it to act through your account.
