Forms and inquiries
Forms collect information from website visitors and from agents acting on their behalf. Each form has fields, localized text, a confirmation, and delivery actions. Saved submissions appear under Form entries.
Create the form
Open Forms in the site workspace. Create a form and describe its purpose. Add the questions, select field types, and mark the information that is required. Use the field descriptions to explain what a person or agent should provide.
Keep each field’s identifier stable after connecting it to an integration. You can change a visible label without changing the identifier used in submitted data and delivery mappings.
Write the form’s introduction, instructions, submit-button label, and confirmation. Review validation messages and any additional languages. Add the form to the page where visitors should use it.
Configure delivery and agent settings
Add email notifications or an integration destination through the form’s actions. Integrations covers the connection fields and delivery mappings.
The form’s agent settings include a tool name and description. The name starts with submit_ and identifies the action. Write the description so an agent understands the form’s purpose. Published forms become available through the site’s public agent tools.
Publish and test
Save the form and related page, preview their wording, then publish. Previews cannot send submissions. On the live site, submit a clearly labeled test entry, check the confirmation, and inspect Form entries and the configured destination.
A successful submission means the entry was accepted. Delivery to email or another system happens separately, and each destination has its own status.
Review entries and resolve problems
Open Form entries to inspect submitted data, spam status, and delivery results. If a legitimate entry was marked as spam, mark it as not spam to release suppressed delivery. Review a failed or uncertain destination and retry it when the original destination can accept the request again. Retries use the configuration saved with the entry. Destinations already marked delivered are not resent by that retry.
If a sender receives a validation error, check the published form’s required fields, available choices, and language. If a recent form edit is missing from the live site, confirm that you published it.
