Previews and publishing
A draft contains your latest saved edits. A publication is a saved release of the site. Visitors see the published release while you and your teammates continue working in the draft.
Preview the draft
Choose Preview in the site workspace to browse the draft with its saved settings and related content. Check pages, navigation, images, and form wording in the languages you intend to publish.
Draft previews are read-only for public actions. Forms cannot send real inquiries, and public agent tools do not run against a preview. After publication, use a clearly labeled test submission to check the full inquiry process.
An agent or API client can also request a preview URL. That URL grants temporary, read-only access to the draft for one hour. Share it only with someone you want to review that content.
Inspect saved changes
Open Unpublished changes to compare the current draft with the public release. The comparison covers added, modified, and archived records across the site.
Publishing is a site-wide operation. Review all saved changes, including changes made by teammates or agents. Saving a page and leaving its editor does not limit the next publication to that page.
Resolve errors
Wirechunk validates the saved site when publishing. It checks matters such as unique page paths and references to related content. Missing pages, unavailable images, or missing form translations may need correction.
Open Readiness or use the validation result to locate the problem. Save the correction and preview the affected page again. External readiness scans provide additional observations; they are distinct from the platform’s own publishing validation.
Publish
Choose Publish when the draft is ready. If service activation is required, the account owner completes billing setup and activation. A successful publication releases the saved versions together.
Open the live site and check the changed pages. If you need to reverse an edit, use History to undo the relevant action in the draft, inspect the result, and publish again. Undoing a draft action alone does not change the public release.
