Images and logos
Use Assets to manage the public files used by your website. Pages refer to those assets, while Settings controls shared images such as the site logo and default share image.
Add an image
Open Assets and upload a file, or ask the AI to import an image from an accessible HTTP or HTTPS URL. A chat attachment can also be imported into the site’s assets when you want to publish it.
The public-asset upload flow accepts files up to 10 MiB. Check the file type and size if an upload fails. Files imported as site assets are intended for public use; a chat attachment is a separate object until it is imported.
After adding an asset, open the relevant page or post and choose the image for the content. Preview its placement at wide and narrow screen sizes.
Describe images in context
Add alternative text that communicates what the image contributes. Explain an informative photo or diagram in terms useful to a person who cannot see it. Keep important instructions and service details in the page text as well.
Alternative text can be localized. Review the description in each language used on the page. A caption can provide visible context without making the alternative text repeat the entire surrounding paragraph.
Set your logo and shared images
In Settings, select the site’s logo. You can provide a different version for dark mode when the same image does not work well on both backgrounds. Check the configured header logo size in preview.
Set a default share image for the site and page-specific images where appropriate. Blog posts can have their own images. These uses may involve different crops, so inspect both the page and the image chosen for sharing.
Replace or archive an asset
Update the pages, posts, or settings that should use the new image, then preview and publish. Before archiving an asset, check whether it is still used elsewhere on the site.
If validation reports that an image is unavailable, select an active asset or remove the reference. Review related language versions too.
