SEO and structured data

Wirechunk generates technical markup from your published content and settings. Your main controls are the facts and metadata saved on the site, pages, posts, and related records.

Review page metadata

Open a page or post and review its title, meta description, and share image. Write a description that matches the page’s actual content. Set a page-specific image when the site default is not suitable.

Publishing generates title and description markup, social sharing tags, a canonical URL, and links to available language versions. Review the live page after changing its path or domain.

Maintain the business record

Open Settings → Organization to manage the site’s public Schema.org organization information. Keep its business type, name, contact details, and other relevant fields accurate. Shared images and social profiles also contribute to the business’s published representation.

Visible page content and structured records need to agree. A sentence edited in a service page does not automatically establish that every separate business field has also been updated. Review the relevant records when a business fact changes.

Page and post structure

Pages have structured page information, and posts have BlogPosting metadata such as authors and publication dates. Page-specific structured objects can describe the subjects of that page. Use the fields that actually represent the content you publish.

A preview or a schema check can identify a structural problem, but a person still needs to confirm the meaning and accuracy of the information.

Discovery and language versions

The site publishes robots.txt, an XML sitemap, and alternate-language links. The sitemap reflects the public pages; pages marked not to be indexed are excluded from it. Search engines make their own indexing decisions.

Wirechunk also offers Markdown output and llms.txt for agents. Those are additional interfaces to published content, alongside the standard HTML and search metadata.

Verify changes

Review Readiness, resolve publishing errors, and publish the draft. Check page titles, descriptions, language links, and structured content on the live site. Keep important information visible in the page itself so customers can read it directly.
